This was one of my first projects and a great starter project! It's also very inexpensive to build.
Remember: if you're not ready to buy a saw to cut the wood, just take your measurements to Home Depot (or your local hardware store) and ask them to cut the pieces for you!

Swap HardwareÂ

This one is quite simple but can change the look of your cabinets so drastically!
You can remove the old hardware and swap it out with the new with just a drill like this one. Just make sure that if the old hardware is 4 1/2 inches long, the new one is also the same size, as you'll be using the existing drilled holes.

Upgrade Lighting Fixtures
Nothing upgrades a home faster than getting rid of those old boob lights, you know?
Light fixtures feel like a “scary” project, but they’re often just a few screws and three wires. As long as you turn off the breaker and follow the color-coded wires, it’s one of the easiest ways to completely change the look of a room in under an hour.
